Kay Boyce initially trained and worked in commercial illustration, designing book covers for a number of well-known publishers and although she is proud of her achievement in this business, her true vocation is as an Artist. Her soft style blended with a variety of beautiful tinted papers creates an appealing quality to her female form subjects and her skilful handling of fabrics add that extra dimension.

Her inspiration is drawn from the Ballet and having been trained herself in formal Ballet and contemporary dance, Kay fully understands the movement of the female form. This is combined with her love of delicate antique fabrics to create her soft yet sensual figurative pieces that have become her trademark images.

To date over sixty of Kay’s Limited Edition prints have sold out, the majority of which on publication with many commanding secondary prices.
