Elaine Cooper
		Although Elaine lives and works in the Rossendale Valley, she spends a lot of her time in the West Country with its ancient coastal culture inspiring her to create many of her signature harbour scenes. Elaine has a fascination with the old houses that have looked out to sea for hundreds of years with their tiny windows and vibrant colours.
In complete contrast to her relaxed costal images, Elaine also captures the atmosphere and colours of the buzzing café society, recreating the ambience and feel of these energetic locations which have lately become such a significant part of modern day city living.
		If you look closely a black cat will often feature in Elaine’s images, these fascinating creatures, aloof and independent yet affectionate and loving add a sense of humour and fun to Elaine’s Originals.
