Although Dave had no formal training, he showed immense talent in school for technical drawing and in more recent years has incorporated this skill into his highly detailed motorsport originals. Dave studies the picture and breaks it down to its smallest components; each individual component is painted in its entirety and the complete image slowly joins together like a jigsaw.

Dave’s chosen medium of acrylic lends itself perfectly to the colour and drama of the powerful subject of motorsport. He is extremely dedicated to his new found vocation and will often paint for twelve hours a day, seven days a week and still says it’s not enough!

A number of Dave’s Limited Edition prints have also been counter-signed by various sporting personalities, making them unique and highly collectable.
