Bill Makinson
		Bill has been painting professionally since 1974. The early years were tough, but with dedication to succeed, he has now been documented as the ‘Best selling landscape Artist in the UK’ for Limited Edition prints with over 1,000 outlets stocking his work.
As a former florist, flowers continue to be not only a subject close to Bill’s heart but have also been one of his main inspirations; his landscape scenes often feature an abundance of flora, for which he travels up and down the country to capture on his canvas.
		Bill always manages to find that special scene, like the misty morning in the forest, a shaft of light through a cloudy sky, wild flowers in the hedgerow or snow that reflects cool and warm in the changing light. In Bill’s own words ‘I take the notes from nature and then create the tune’.
